After a long journey, Rufus is ready for his forever home

Rufus is a sweet and friendly 1-year-old orange cat who has traveled all the way from Qatar in search of his forever home.

Naturally outgoing and social, Rufus loves people and is eager to make new friends. He may need a little time to adjust to a busy household, as he spent the past month living alone in a rescuer’s bathroom due to a shortage of foster volunteers. Still, as a classic orange boy, Rufus is easygoing, adaptable and a little delightfully oblivious. We expect he’ll settle in and blossom in no time.

Rufus has a wonderful track record of getting along well with other felines. We believe he will adjust beautifully to a home with other cats with proper introductions.

With a little patience as he adjusts to his new surroundings, Rufus is sure to make a loving and entertaining companion.
