Waltham man pleads not guilty to possession of narcotics seized during traffic stop

Dana Aucoin, 62, of 11 Benefit St., Waltham, pleaded not guilty to possession of a class B drug at a Nov. 17 arraignment at Waltham District Court.
Waltham police arrested Aucoin at 3:34 p.m. on Nov. 15 after an officer seized cocaine, crack cocaine and other drug paraphernalia found on Aucoin and in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
According to the police report, an officer witnessed Aucoin operating a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker and recognized him from previous encounters. The report noted that Aucoin has previous narcotics charges and was recently discharged from a rehabilitation program.
Additionally, the report stated that after searching Aucoin and his vehicle, the officer found and seized a bag of cocaine, two plastic containers containing small rock-like substances and two crack pipes. The total weight of the seized narcotics was approximately 7.44 grams, including the plastic containers.
Aucoin is scheduled to appear at Waltham District Court for a pretrial hearing on Jan. 22.

Waltham District Court Judge Ellen M. Caulo cancelled a Nov. 20 probable cause hearing for Schleiden Meneide, 37, of 265 Village Circle Way, Manchester, New Hampshire. Meneide was arrested by Waltham police on a warrant and charged with 20 firearm related charges following an incident on Jul. 28. He is currently being held on dangerousness at the Middlesex Jail in Billerica. Meneide is scheduled to appear at Waltham District Court via Zoom for a hearing to review the status of his case on Nov. 26.
Caulo scheduled a Jan. 22 discovery compliance and jury selection hearing for Thomas Macdonald, 74, of 190 Moody St., Waltham. Macdonald pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failing to register a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage at an arraignment at Waltham District Court on Aug. 18.
Caulo scheduled a Jan. 22 discovery compliance and jury selection hearing for Anthony L. Gallardo Aguirre, 20, of 8 Seattle St., Allston. Gallardo Aguirre pleaded not guilty to conspiracy in connection with a refund fraud scheme, at his arraignment at Waltham District Court on Oct. 9.
