Goodwill donation center opens in Waltham

Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries on Friday, Jan. 24, will open  an attended donation center in the American Legion parking lot at 215 Waverley Oaks Road. 

The donation center will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except federal and state holidays). 

Donations can include gently used items in working condition. Examples are wearable clothing and shoes, working small appliances and cookware. A full list of what is and is not acceptable is available at https://www.goodwillmass.org/what-to-donate/.

Donated goods are either given to people in need or resold. By reselling these goods, Goodwill can continue its main mission of providing local job training, education and employment opportunities to people in need.
