At the tail end of the nor’easter, a Flood Watch is in effect for much of Middlesex and surrounding counties until 2 a.m. on Tuesday. Experts do not list Waltham by name in this warning, though care should still be taken as the rain continues through today. Precipitation chances lower as the evening wears on, dropping to 30% after 1am.

The expected nor’easter brings a Wind Advisory that goes into effect at 8am Friday. Rain is expected, though not until after 4pm. Most of the heavy rain and wind begins in the late evening, with gusts up to 45mph, and rain accumulation up to an inch.
