Snow emergency parking bans issued on Sunday

The city declared a snow emergency to begin on Sunday, Jan. 19, at 4 p.m. with a parking ban for all streets.
No on-street parking is permitted while the parking ban is in effect, and vehicles violating the ban are subject to being towed, according to the city’s winter weather alert center.
Vehicles may be parked in municipal and public school parking lots. Residents must remove vehicles from school parking lots within two hours of the parking ban being lifted or vehicles will be towed. Residents have 24 hours to remove cars from municipal lots after the parking ban has been lifted.
Snow emergency/parking ban updates are communicated through the city’s CodeRED system. Residents can sign up here to receive citywide alerts via phone, text and email. Translation to Spanish, Portuguese and French are available.
