There were no parking spaces to be found along Guinan Street last Sunday as hundreds of visitors converged on three artisan studios housed in a set of concrete buildings parallel to the Mass Central Rail Trail. They were there to celebrate the first anniversary of Tail in the Mud pottery studio alongside its more venerable neighbors, the Prospect Hill Forge and MetalWerx. Attendees admired ceramics vases, bowls and other objects alongside forged iron candelabras and tools. Visitors toured an impressive warren of metalworking workspaces at MetalWerx and browsed tables laden with metalworking supplies and tools on sale.
