Waltham teachers set to square off against Harlem Wizards

The Harlem Wizards are coming to Waltham for the third year in a row – and the sixth year overall, visiting students and squaring off against a team of Waltham teachers.
The Wizards are set to be here in the city on Friday, Jan. 31.
The Wizards will visit all seven elementary schools and Kennedy Middle School during the school day before an evening matchup against the Waltham Hawkstars, made up of teachers and staff from all 10 of the city’s schools. Chad Mazza, assistant superintendent of finance and operations, is serving as team coach.
The game will be held at John F. Kennedy Middle School, 655 Lexington St.. The game begins at 7 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m.
The event is run by volunteers from all the schools, and each school’s PTO will receive a portion of the profits from ticket sales.

An online processing fee of $1.50 per ticket will be added to your final total and your ticket will be scanned for entry at the door. Ticket includes general admission seating. Seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Children 3 and under are free and do not need a ticket.
