Waltham Recycling Department hosts No Waste Day

It’s time for spring cleaning, but what are you going to do about that box of old eyeglasses that you can’t bring yourself to throw in the trash? Surely someone somewhere could use them. Or how about those laptop computers and monitors collecting dust in a closet? Or that box of fluorescent bulbs and tubes that you know you’re not supposed to put out on the curb?

On Saturday, bring your e-waste, old eyeglasses and more to Nipper Maher Park at 65 Dartmouth St., where the Waltham Recycling Department is hosting a recycling and collection event. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free; however, bring proof that you reside in Waltham.
