Julie Ann Politis, 1977–2025

Julie Ann Politis passed away at age 48 on June 23. She was born on May 29, 1977, in Waltham to Andrew and Margaret (McHugh) Politis. She lived most of her life in Waltham before moving to Hudson, New Hampshire.
Julie was a graduate of Waltham High School with the class of 1995. She worked closely over the years with many that suffered from addiction through the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office and the Phoenix Program.
A mouth like a sailor with the heart of an angel, Julie lived every moment of her life to the fullest. A caregiver to so many, she was a protector and a provider who loved fiercely and unconditionally those around her. Nothing in this world was more important to her than the love of family and friends.
A fashionista, with a love of clothes, shoes, hats and perfume, Julie was always making her fashion known to those around her, especially taking great pride in her shoe collection. She enjoyed listening to country music and caring for her dog “Peaches”.
Although her life was way too short by every stretch of the imagination; Julie touched countless lives and will forever be remembered and missed dearly by those that were fortunate to have known her.
Julie was predeceased by her son Cole Michael Sevigny in February of 2025.
She is survived by her parents Andy and Peggy (McHugh) Politis; her daughter Cori Sevigny; her partner for 28 years Donnie Sevigny; her siblings, nieces & nephews; Nicole and Dennis Carrafiello and their children Taylor, Jordan and Alex; Mark Politis and Janneane and their children Morgan and Evan; Christopher Politis and his daughter Madisyn and her daughters Lilly and Ahnaleia. In addition, she is survived by her dog “Peaches”, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Those who wish to pay their respects can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, on Monday, June 30, from 3 to 7 p.m. For those who wish to pay their final respects, but are unable to attend, please be sure to sign the guestbook at www.BrascoFuneralhome.com. Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Julie’s life to remember the love and friendship she shared with so many others in her lifetime during a funeral service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, on Tuesday, July 1, at 11 a.m.
