Diana Frances Barrile, 1947–2025, worked many years at Bickford’s and Red Rooster restaurants
Diana Frances Barrile, of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 25, with her dear friend by her side and in the comfort and care of the staff at Care Dimensions Hospice Home in Lincoln. She was 77 years old.
Born on Oct. 14, 1947, in Yarmouth, Diana spent the majority of her life in Waltham. She worked for many years as a waitress at the Red Rooster Restaurant and Bickford’s Restaurant in Waltham, where she was known for her hard work, dedication, and warm presence.
Diana will be remembered as kind and compassionate, always ready to lend a helping hand. Fierce, stubborn, and strong-willed, she also had a deeply loving nature that touched the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her loving and devoted friend and caregiver, Geraldine Wonson-Telles, and her husband, Ulisses, of Waltham. Diana was also a cherished grandmother-like figure to their daughter, Courtney, who held a very special place in her heart.
In accordance with Diana’s wishes, all funeral services will be held privately.
