Honoring our veterans

Under gray November skies, hundreds gathered Tuesday at the Circle of Remembrance on Waltham Common to honor generations of the city’s veterans who served in America’s wars.

The annual Veterans Day ceremony drew residents, local officials, and veterans’ groups who laid red roses on the memorial’s red bricks engraved with names and years of service.

Speakers reflected on the sacrifices made by Waltham men and women in uniform and urged residents to continue supporting those who have served.
