Friday, Dec. 5 – Very cold, sunny; clouds increase late with a slight chance of light snow overnight 

Arctic air remains fully in place. Despite sunshine, temperatures struggle to reach the mid-20s. Winds are lighter than Thursday. Clouds increase toward evening as a weak coastal low approaches from the south. A few light snow showers may develop after midnight, but moisture is limited.
