Waltham District Court Judge Michael J. Callahan scheduled a Jan. 15 pretrial hearing for William F. Bowen, 47, of 32 Brooks St., Maynard, at a hearing to review status on Dec. 10.

At his Dec. 3 arraignment, Bowen pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and two counts of assault and battery on a police officer.

According to the police report, Waltham police arrested Bowen at 8:19 p.m. on Dec. 2 after receiving a report of a man assaulting people in the lower area of the Embassy parking garage at 48 Pine St.

Additionally, two witnesses told officers that Bowen slammed a water bottle on the hood of a vehicle and verbally threatened a witness and later punched another individual in the abdomen.

The police report said that when officers arrived at the scene, Bowen fled on foot and attempted to prevent officers from entering a vestibule at the garage.

The report also said Bowen’s mother told officers at the scene that her son had been drinking that night and had a history of undiagnosed mental health issues.

Bowen is scheduled to appear back at Waltham District Court on Jan. 15.
