Four-car collision on Newton Street on Thursday

Waltham Police and Fire responded to the area of 9 Newton St. for a reported motor vehicle crash around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16.

First responders arrived to find a four-car crash in the roadway. Crews checked the involved parties on scene, and reported no injuries.

The crash temporarily slowed traffic in the area as emergency personnel worked to assess the scene and clear the vehicles. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
