Debra Marie Hill, 1958–2026

Debra Marie (Alibrandi) Hill, of Waltham, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026. She was 68.

Born on April 12, 1958, to Joseph A. and Jeannette M. Alibrandi of Waltham, Debra grew up surrounded by the deep roots of a loving family, roots she would nurture and grow throughout her entire life. She was, in every sense of the word, a woman whose greatest gift to this world was the love she so freely and generously gave.

A devoted mother to her daughter, Ashley Nicole Hill, Debra’s greatest joy was found in family. She created a home filled with laughter, warmth and an unwavering sense of belonging. Her love was steadfast, her presence irreplaceable and her devotion boundless.

Debra had her happiest moments aboard a cruise ship with the ocean breeze at her back, or along the sun-kissed shores of Cape Cod, where time seemed to slow and life felt beautifully simple. She embraced every journey with enthusiasm and grace, always eager to create new memories with those she held close.

She spent her career as a Courier with the Registry of Motor Vehicles, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where she was known for her reliability, her dedication and the warmth she brought to those around her each day.

Debra faced life’s chapters, including widowhood, with quiet strength and dignity, never losing her gentle spirit or her deep capacity for love. Debra leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth and cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Ashley Nicole Hill; her devoted parents, Joseph A. and Jeannette M. Alibrandi of Waltham; and her brother Steven Alibrandi of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Hill and her brothers Michael Alibrandi and Joseph Alibrandi, and leaves behind a circle of family and friends whose lives are immeasurably richer for having known her.

Friends and family are warmly invited to gather at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, 773 Moody Street, Waltham, on Tuesday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., to celebrate the life of Debra Marie Hill. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. in the Mary Catherine Chapel.
