Rides, games and fried dough at Waltham Lions Club Carnival May 6–10

The Waltham Lions Club Carnival is returning to CityPoint this week with five days of rides, games and fried dough to raise money for local causes.

The annual fundraiser, presented in partnership with Fiesta Shows, will run Wednesday, May 6, through Sunday, May 10, at 300 Fifth Ave. Admission is $3, with free admission for children age 6 and under. Free parking will be available on site.

The carnival will feature more than a dozen mechanical rides for all ages, along with classic carnival games and fair food favorites such as fried dough. Organizers say the event is designed as an affordable, family-friendly night out that also supports the Lions’ programs to fund eye screenings, scholarships and other community initiatives throughout the year.

Hours are:

  • Wednesday, May 6 – 5 to 10 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 7 – 5 to 10 p.m.
  • Friday, May 8 – 5 to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 9 – 1 to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 10 – 1 to 9 p.m.

Attendees can buy ride credits and, on certain days, unlimited-ride wristbands directly from Fiesta Shows through its secure online ticketing page.
