Thursday, June 18 – Windy with showers and strong thunderstorms possible

Showers will continue through the morning before conditions become increasingly unstable during the afternoon as warmer, more humid air moves into the region. A few thunderstorms may become strong to severe, especially during the afternoon and early evening, with damaging wind gusts the primary threat. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out given the unusually strong wind shear. Outside of thunderstorms, gusty southerly winds will make for a blustery day.

• High: 75–80°F | Low: 62–66°F | Wind: S 15–25 mph, gusting 30–40 mph • Sky: Mostly cloudy with occasional sunshine • Precipitation: 80%
