Eaton Mackay Funeral Home is proud to announce that Paul J. Brasco, a respected third-generation funeral director with more than 30 years of experience, has joined the Eaton family of funeral homes in both our Newton and Needham locations. Paul is looking forward to continuing to serve his Waltham, Belmont and Newton families at the Eaton Mackay Funeral Home – just minutes away in our Newton location.

A lifelong resident of Waltham, Paul has dedicated his career to guiding families through some of life’s most difficult moments with compassion, dignity and unwavering care. His deep roots in the community and long-standing commitment to public service have made him a trusted and familiar presence to countless families.
Paul is a graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1993, and continued his education at Mount Ida College before earning his funeral service degree from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in 1995. Since then, he has built a career defined by professionalism, empathy and a steadfast dedication to excellence in funeral service.
In 2000, Paul married his high school sweetheart, Stacy Power, and together they have raised three children — Samantha, Patrick and Cameron — while remaining deeply involved in the Waltham community they proudly call home.
Paul’s commitment to service extends far beyond his professional work. In 1999, he became one of the youngest individuals ever elected to the Waltham City Council, where he served on nearly every standing committee and held leadership roles as both Vice-President and President. His decades of civic involvement have earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and residents alike.
He is also an active member of several local organizations, including the Waltham Lodge of Elks, the Sons of Italy Dante Alighieri Club and the Village Club of Needham. Throughout his life, Paul has remained guided by a strong sense of community responsibility and a genuine desire to help others.
Known for his kindness, steady presence, and compassionate spirit, Paul brings these same values to the Eaton funeral home family. He joins Laurence “Skip” Eaton, Kevin Greene, and Bob Timmerman in continuing a tradition of service that spans more than 200 years.
Paul will continue to serve the families at both our Eaton Mackay location in Newton and our Eaton location in Needham. Together, we all remain committed to supporting families in Waltham, Newton, Belmont, Watertown, Wellesley, and Needham.
We are honored to welcome Paul to the Eaton Funeral organization and look forward to the care, experience, and heartfelt dedication he brings to the families we serve.
