Revelers fill the common for the Watch City Dance Party

A crowd of happy dancers waved glow sticks and filled the pavement around the bandstand on Waltham Common on Friday night, Aug. 14. It was the return of the Watch City Dance Party, a free celebration promoting community and great music.

Ann Callahan was happy to be there.
The littlest dancer.
DJ Shaw spun a great mix of tunes.
The bandstand on Waltham Common was decked out in colored lights and golden tassels. The audience enjoyed raffle prizes and generation- and culture-spanning music from DJ Shaw.
