Eight cases arraigned at Waltham District Court

The Waltham District Court between Aug. 26 and Sept. 1 arraigned eight cases involving arrests made by the Waltham Police Department.

A summary of those cases is as follows:

Damaree C. Caruthers-Grant, 23, of Dorchester, pleaded not guilty on Aug. 31 to one count of assault and battery on a family or household member and one count of malicious destruction of property valued at less than $1,200. The charges stem from an incident at a restaurant on Totten Pond Road. Caruthers-Grant will face a hearing to review the status of his case on Sept. 8.

Ryan E. Donohue, 31, of Natick, pleaded not guilty on Aug. 31 to a charge of assault and battery that police said occurred at a Waltham residence. Donohue was released on personal recognizance by Judge Ellen M. Caulo and will face a pretrial hearing on Oct. 14.

Michael Gray, 43, of Waltham, pleaded not guilty on Aug. 31 to a charge of possession of a class B drug. The charge relates to an incident at the Waltham Public Library. Gray was released on personal recognizance by Caulo and will face a pretrial hearing on Oct. 27.

Wynter A. Mcphail, 43, of Waltham, pleaded not guilty on Aug. 31 to a charge of possession of a class B drug. She was arrested at the Waltham Public Library at the same time as Gray. Mcphail was released on personal recognizance by Caulo and will face a pretrial hearing on Oct. 27.

Bryan Kim, 21, of Hoboken, N.J., pleaded not guilty on Aug. 28 to one count of trespassing and one count of assault and battery on a family or household member. The charges relate to an incident at Brandeis University. Kim was released on personal recognizance by Judge Sarah Kennedy and will face a pretrial hearing on Oct. 8. 

Lucio Marino, 53, of Waltham, pleaded not guilty on Aug. 31 to one count of assault and battery on a family or household member and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The charges relate to an incident that occurred at a Waltham residence. Marino was released on personal recognizance by Caulo and will face a pretrial hearing on Oct. 8.

Nicholas S. Maviri, 34, of Waltham, pleaded not guilty on Aug. 31 to one count of assault and battery, one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of possession of a class C drug. The charges relate to an incident at a Waltham residence. Maviri was released on personal recognizance by Caulo and will face a hearing to review status on Sept. 8.

Rakoyan S. Williams Singleton, 27, of Waltham, pleaded not guilty on Aug. 31 to one count of assault and battery on a family or household member, one count of assault and battery on a pregnant victim, one count of reckless endangerment of a child, one count of possession of ammunition without an FID card and one count of threatening to commit a crime. The charges stem from an incident at a Waltham residence. Williams Singleton will face a hearing to review his status on Sept. 4.
