Columbus / Indigenous Peoples’ Day city schedule
All Waltham city government offices, the Waltham Public Library and Waltham Public Schools will be closed on Monday, Oct. 12.
There will be no trash or recycling pick-up on Monday, Oct. 12. Pick-up will be delayed by one day for the entire week, Oct. 13–17.
Parking is free at city parking meters and pay stations on Monday, Oct. 12.
Waltham City Council will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

How about traffic speed measure yellow lights, just like they have in Lexington near school zones. Near the Kennedy and High School would be a very a good spot, about 569 etc. Simply let drivers know how much over the speed limit they be, Thanks
