Roberta Lemoine, 1940 – 2025, was long-time Nova Biomedical employee

Roberta A. Lemoine died peacefully on Thursday, July 24, at Newton-Wellesley Hospital after a brief illness. She was 85.
Born on February 2, 1940, in Cambridge, she was the only child of the late Robert and Ruth E. (Morache) Lemoine. Raised and educated in Cambridge she would often recall with great fondness a love for her native City of Cambridge.
She worked in Newton at Unytite Inc. Corporation and later enjoyed employment at Nova Biomedical on Prospect Street in Waltham where she also enjoyed walking to work each day from her family home on Central Street.
Roberta loved living at ‘The Mill’ in Waltham in her last year’s where she had many friendships. She was a loving soul who cherished her faith, which included daily Rosaries with Our Blessed Mother Mary (along with Boston Catholic Television) and special devotion to Saint Jude. She cared for animals all of her life, and in her last years cherished the companionship of her beloved cat Lucy.
She leaves many dear friends including Theresa and John Dalton of Arizona, Joan McGann, Claire Merrifield and Page Vandewater, all of Waltham.
All are welcome to honor and remember Roberta’s life by gathering on Wednesday, August 6, in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect St., Waltham, where her graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. The 12:10 p.m. daily Mass at Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School St. will be offered in her memory following the burial. There are no calling hours.
