Waltham activists gear up for nationwide protests on April 5

Organizers said the rally is part of a national movement to protest the actions of the Trump administration, including the gutting of services, firing of federal workers, shutting down of essential agencies, ignoring court orders, deporting legal immigrants, targeting enemies and threatening allies.

“Whether you oppose the attacks on our Constitution, the undermining of the rule of law, the unauthorized access to our sensitive personal data, or the dismantling of our critical services, now is the time to stand up and make your opposition visible,” said Diana Young, a member of the organizing team. “We want to show that the majority of people oppose the corruption, cruelty and antidemocratic actions of the Trump administration.”
