City schedules this week and next

Waltham Public Schools will be closed today, Friday, April 18, in observance of Good Friday.

All Waltham city offices and the Waltham Public Library will close early at 2 p.m.

Additionally, all Waltham schools, city offices and the public library will be closed on Monday, April 21, for the Patriots’ Day holiday.

The city will observe Patriots’ Day with Massachusetts National Guard Unit #14’s Stephen K. Eaton at 10 a.m. on Monday with a ceremony at the corner of Lexington and Lincoln streets.

Waltham Public Schools will remain closed for spring vacation through April 25.

Parking will be free at all pay stations on Monday.

There will be no trash and recycling collection on Monday, April 21, and pickup will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week..

Waltham City Council’s Committee meeting will be held Tuesday, April 22. The docket and agenda are available here.

The Conservation Commission will meet on Thursday, April 24, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
