Facebook post alleges ICE raid

A post saying agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement were in Waltham circulated on social media Tuesday morning. 

The message appeared in a post in the Waltham, MA Facebook group, claiming that a “raid” was being conducted by ICE agents on a section of Maple Street in between Moody and Adams Street.

A spokesperson for the Waltham Police Department told The Waltham Times that the department had no information on ICE activity in the city and referred further questions to the local ICE field office in Burlington.

The field office declined to provide comments about possible ICE activity in the area.
