A golden afternoon on Farm Day

Waltham Farms Community Field hosted its annual Farm Day on Saturday, Oct. 18. The event drew hundreds of visitors from Waltham and surrounding towns. Farm-themed activities filled the afternoon, from pulling fat carrots out of the rich soil to bowling with pumpkins and tasting freshly pressed apple cider. So did the Waltham Historical Society.
There was plenty for kids to do.
