This little kitty will squeak her way into your heart

Every once in a while, a truly extraordinary soul comes along — and that’s Squeaky. Born with a spinal deformity that leaves her back curved at nearly a 45-degree angle, this tiny fighter has never let her challenges define her.
Her X-rays show that the end of her spine likely compresses the nerves, and her kneecaps aren’t where they should be, leaving her back legs frozen. She’s also incontinent and prone to UTIs, so she needs some extra care, but her foster has had success using diapers.
Squeaky doesn’t know she’s “different.” She scoots her way around with determination and joy, chasing toys, exploring her world and showing off her fearless spirit. Her foster family built her a little ramp so she can scoot up to the window to watch the birds — one of her favorite pastimes.
What Squeaky loves even more than bird-watching is you. She’s a total cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. After a busy session of playtime scooting, she’ll collapse right into your arms for a long, contented snuggle. Her purrs are soft but steady — the sound of pure happiness and love.
There’s no medical fix for her condition, but with medication and a patient, loving home, Squeaky can live a comfortable life. She’s looking for adopters who can appreciate her special needs and see her not for her limitations, but for the bright, affectionate, playful spirit she is.
She’ll thrive as the center of attention or alongside another gentle cat. Most of all, she needs a family with open hearts, steady hands and room for one small miracle who’s ready to fill your life with love.
