Legion Band to close out Concerts on the Common

A large crowd sprawled across Waltham Common on Tuesday, Aug. 18, to hear Elton John and Billy Joel hits performed by Billy and the Jets.

This week brings the final show of the free summer series Concerts on the Common. Waltham’s storied American Legion Band closes out the season Tuesday evening, Aug. 25. The series is supported by a grant from the Waltham Cultural Council.
