Child struck by vehicle on South Street

Emergency crews responded around 6:20 p.m. to the area of 567 South Street on Thursday, Sept. 3, after an 11 year old child was reportedly struck by a vehicle.

The child was transported by ambulance to Boston Children’s Hospital. Their condition was not immediately available.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
