All Waltham city offices, public schools and the public library will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day, city officials announced. Parking at all pay stations will be free throughout the holiday.

Trash and recycling collection will not occur Monday. Service will shift one day later for the remainder of the week, City Hall said.

Sept. 7 also marks the final day for the city’s spray parks and for outdoor dining and retail on Moody Street, both of which will close for the season following the holiday.
