A much more seasonable pattern is expected to settle into southern New England by the end of the week. Temperatures should climb into the middle and upper 70s with a mix of sunshine and passing clouds.

A much warmer air mass will settle over eastern Massachusetts, bringing the warmest temperatures of the season so far. Waltham should see abundant sunshine mixed with some passing clouds, with temperatures climbing well into the upper 80s during the afternoon. Humidity will remain manageable.
