House fire on Cowasset Lane

Firefighters responded to a fire at a residence at 27 Cowasset Lane on Sunday evening around 8 p.m. Crews arrived to find an exterior fire on the side of the dwelling and began working to contain the flames.

Initial reports indicated that the fire had spread, prompting firefighters to open up the structure to prevent the fire from spreading further.

A source at the scene mentioned that the fire may have started in the back exterior of the home, but this has not been confirmed.
