Cape Cod, the South Coast, and Islands stay cooler—closer to 56–58°F—due to onshore flow. Southwest winds increase to 10–15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon. Friday night turns mostly cloudy as moisture increases aloft. A stray shower or rumble of thunder is possible after 11 p.m., particularly across northeastern MA. Most areas stay dry. Overnight lows around 52°F.
