Suspect in Fox Road burglary allegedly grabbed kitchen knife

More details about a March 9 armed burglary have been obtained by the Waltham Times from a police report filed at the Waltham District Court.
Sean Quinn, 38, of 31 Caldwell Road, grabbed a kitchen knife during a burglary at a residence on Fox Road. According to the report, on March 9 at 4:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the property after the caller reported someone had smashed in their front door. The two residents of the house scared Quinn away before police responded.
According to one of the residents, the two were awakened by the sound of a smashing window. The resident walked toward their front door and observed a tall white man with glasses and a gray puffy jacket, whom they later identified as Quinn, standing in their apartment.
After the resident told Quinn to leave multiple times, Quinn grabbed a kitchen knife.
The resident told Quinn to leave again. The report noted that Quinn responded, saying “something along the line of ‘Oh I have the wrong house bro.’”
While responding to the scene of the crime, an officer observed a man walking from the area with a gray jacket and a backpack. After another officer relayed a description of the alleged intruder to other units, the first officer told Waltham Dispatch he observed the man walking down Fox Road.
Another officer responded and observed the man pulling on the rear door of another property on Fox Road.
Quinn was arrested at 5:16 a.m. after the caller was driven by an officer to the second property and identified by the victim based on his facial features and jacket.
