Independence Day will be observed July 3

This year, Independence Day will be observed on Friday, July 3. 

• Trash and recycling will be picked up as normal on Friday. 
• All Waltham city offices will be closed Friday.
• The Waltham Public Library will be closed Friday and Saturday, July 3–4.
• Parking will be free at all meters and pay stations on Friday.

There will be no July 4 event at Prospect Hill Park this year.
