James Willis is a cartoonist, writer and adventurer based in Waltham’s Chemistry district. Like most good writers, James has worked a string of odd jobs to pay the bills, including: bagging groceries, short order cooking, teaching English in Thailand and stocking shelves in a liquor store. When not at work James can be found learning languages, studying philosophy, building sci-fi conventions or avenging the death of his master.
Our Nation is in a truly liminal space, as is our future and freedoms. And, it’s not perceptible whether we are delivered to fascism, or restore our nearly dead 250 year old Constitutional Republic, and Democracy.
86 the GOP, the MAGA mentality, immorality, sexism, racism, criminality, white nationalist idolatry, fascism, anti-Americanism, anti-Patriotism, xenophobia, selfishness, and crassness. 250 years of patriotism and heroism by many whom gave that last full measure for our Nation, and ALL of it’s Citizens, and citizens around the FREE and Democratic World, deserve at least that much. Not to mention, our future generations. Be best. Be good. Preserve our Democracy. As Arthur Schopenhauer and Joni Mitchell said, “You don’t know what you’ve got, till it’s gone.”
