Frederick J. Williams, 1957–2026

Frederick Jackson (Jack) Williams of Fitchburg, MA, passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2026, with family by his side. He was born August 29, 1957, the son of the late Frederick Jackson Williams and Ann Sammarco Williams.

His formative years were shared with his brothers in Needham, MA, the late Barry M Williams, and Niantic, CT, Glenn Williams, Arthur Williams, and Guy Williams, as well as time spent with his cousins with whom he was very close. He is survived by his partner, Barbara Donohue of Marlborough, MA, his brothers, Glenn Williams (children Mitchell, Emma & Bella), Arthur Williams (children Michelle, Gaelin, Sabrina, Krystyana) and Guy Williams (Renee, Thomas, Sue, Sam) and cousins Nicholas McGowan, Sharon Grant, Kerry McGowan, Brian McGowan, Sean McGowan, Carmine Sammarco, Cynthia Adams, Tina LeBlanc, Deborah Turner, Laura Wilder Williams, Marie Williams, Anne Williams.

He enjoyed traveling with Barbara, the ocean, and spending time with family on the Cape. Jack was an easygoing, gentle person with a great sense of humor and mischief. He will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched.

The family would like to thank the staff and family of The Highlands for the exceptional care and compassion he received while there.

The viewing will be held on August 6th, 2026, at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut Street, Newton Center, MA 02459.
