AeroShield is a good step toward tackling climate chaos

To the editor:

The causes of global climate change do not form a single Gordian knot, but a multidimensional tangle of factors that rule out single solutions.  As H.L. Mencken said over a century ago, “for every complex problem, there’s a simple solution…and it’s wrong.”

Tackling planetary climate chaos will require initiatives of widely varying sizes and scopes, each addressing some small component of the question.  AeroShield’s advances in window insulation technology are a good example, as is the Commonwealth’s Climatetech program which awarded them 140K in tax incentives.

Good government plans for the future, strengthening communities, fostering innovation, and working to ensure equitable distribution of resources.  The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center should be a model for other states to emulate as they explore regional and local approaches to what is, ultimately, a global problem.
