Public Safety Report: Bracelet stolen from Downstairs at Felton Antiques
A bracelet worth $9,500 was stolen this week from Downstairs at Felton Antiques at 100 Felton St., Waltham.
According to an employee, three males entered the antique store and began to look at jewelry. One of the males asked to look at a bracelet that was in a locked display case. During the process of placing the bracelet back into the display case after viewing, one of the other males distracted the employee, causing the employee to turn away from the case.
The employee believes the bracelet was taken out of the case while his back was turned. It wasn’t apparent that the bracelet was missing until the three men had left. The bracelet is 14 karat gold with a “looped and knotted” design, according to the employee. The bracelet has not yet been recovered.
