Two teenagers who were reported missing over the weekend have been found, according to a Waltham Police Department detective.

The mother of 15-year-old Marjorie Corado-Quelex called the Police Department on Jan. 20 at 11:15 a.m. to report that her daughter had returned home. The teen’s mother had reported her daughter missing on Jan. 18 at 12:18 p.m. after her daughter hadn’t returned home the day before, prompting the police to send out an alert about the missing teen.

Cesar Alvarez Mena called the Waltham Police Department on Jan. 20 at 1:03 p.m. after learning he had been reported missing over the weekend, telling police that he had been staying at a friend’s house.

The 17-year-old was reported missing by his uncle on Jan. 18 at 8:08 p.m., similarly prompting police to post a missing person alert over the weekend. The uncle stated he last saw his nephew entering a friend’s car earlier that day at 11 a.m.

The detective told The Times that these cases were not connected.
