Waltham leaders tour Boston Children’s Waltham campus

Boston Children’s Hospital’s Waltham campus recently welcomed local and state officials for a tour highlighting pediatric specialty care and growing behavioral health needs.

City Council President and Ward 9 Councilor Robert G. Logan, Ward 3 Councilor Bill Hanley, Councilor-at-Large Tim King and state Rep. John Lawn toured the hospital’s Sleep Unit and Community-Based Acute Treatment Unit. Clinical teams shared insights on rising demand for pediatric specialty services, particularly in behavioral health.

Hospital leaders also discussed Boston Children’s role in the Waltham community, pointing to ongoing job creation, local investment and efforts to expand access to care for families in the city and across the region.
