Elaine Quaranto, 1947–2026

Elaine M. (Secord) Quaranto, died Wednesday, April 29, 2026 in Massachusetts General Hospital after an illness. She was 79.

Beloved wife of the late Peter A. Quaranto (May 22, 2023), she leaves her children, Michael A. Quaranto (Corrie) of Belmore, New York and Lori Flores (Luis) of Waltham; her grandchildren, Gianna, Donnelly (Andrew), Luis and Alex Flores and Mia and Brynn Quaranto; her sister, Barbara Chester (Thomas) of Phoenix, Arizona; her sister-in-law, Debby Secord of Sutton (late Ralph Secord); and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Elaine’s life by gathering for an evening wake at The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, on Tuesday, May 5, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and again on Wednesday morning where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery.
