Scottish football fans fall for Waltham

By now, who hasn’t heard about the Tartan Army, the enormous wave of Scottish football fans who arrived on our shores to root for their team in the World Cup? A number of them have been spotted in Waltham. A pair of blokes even wandered into City Hall where they met Mayor Jeannette A. McCarthy. The mayor gave them a tour of the council chambers, the Waltham Common, the old Watch Factory and fire station. They finished their day with some local ice cream and a Sun Cruiser. The “impromptu diplomatic meeting” won our city some new die-hard fans. Watch the Instagram reel about their day in Waltham:
