Motor vehicle incident on River Street sends one to the hospital

Police, fire and EMS crews responded around 3 p.m. Monday to 430 River St. for a reported motor vehicle incident involving multiple pedestrians.

Upon arrival, first responders evaluated two individuals. One person was taken to a local hospital, while a second declined medical treatment and signed a refusal at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
