Motorcyclist hurt in Saturday crash near Hannaford

Waltham police and firefighters responded to the area of Hannaford supermarket at 55 Russell St., around 6:30 p.m. Saturday for a reported crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

Responders at the scene evaluated the motorcyclist, who was injured and taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The extent of the injuries has not been released.

The Waltham Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
