Road work scheduled for Crescent Street early this week

The city has scheduled street work on Crescent Street starting Sunday and running through Tuesday, Aug. 5.

On-street parking on both sides of Crescent Street between Brown and Orange streets will be prohibited for those three days.

The street work entails changing the pavement markings on Crescent Street between Brown and Orange streets. The city has scheduled a two-step work process for evenings or overnight, weather permitting. Crews were scheduled to remove existing markings on Sunday and are scheduled to add new markings on Monday.

The double yellow center line will shift over, and the parking lane will shift from the east side of the street to the west side along this section. The city has posted an overview of the project here.
